Jakarta – PT Lippo General Insurance Tbk (LGI) delivered another strong financial performance in the first half of 2026, building on its record-breaking results in 2025. Despite a challenging macroeconomic environment, the Company achieved record first-half revenue and profit and remains on track for another record year.
The year 2026 marks the first full year under Hanwha General Insurance’s majority ownership. LGI joined the Hanwha Group through Hanwha Life Indonesia in 2023, with the majority shareholding subsequently transferred to Hanwha General Insurance to maximize synergies across the Group’s general insurance business.

Compared with the first half of 2025, revenue increased 17.5% (IFRS 4) and 33.9% (IFRS 17), while profit before tax grew 17.0% and 10.2%, respectively. Equity also strengthened under both IFRS 4 and IFRS 17, reaching IDR 1.09 trillion and IDR 1.12 trillion, respectively, further supporting LGI’s future growth.

LGI further strengthened its global standing with the renewal of its AM Best Financial Strength Rating of A– (Excellent) on 19 August 2026. The rating reaffirms the Company’s strong financial statement, disciplined risk management, and ability to meet its ongoing policyholder obligations.
