Jakarta – Bank Indonesia (BI) Governor Perry Warjiyo said that during 2025 or until February 17, 2025, his party had purchased Government Securities (SBN) amounting to Rp32.46 trillion.

“As of February 17, 2025, BI has purchased IDR 32.46 trillion of Government Securities,” Perry said at the RDG press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

Perry detailed, the purchase of SBN was through the secondary market of IDR 19.46 trillion and the primary market of IDR 12.99 trillion.

Perry explained, BI’s goal was to purchase SBN from the secondary market, namely to strengthen monetary operations and at the same time close synergy with government fiscal policy.
