Sri Mulyani Disburses Rp24.44 Trillion for Economic Stimulus June-July 2025

Jakarta – Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati disbursed a budget of Rp24.44 trillion for the economic stimulus package to boost growth and maintain people’s purchasing power in June-July 2025.

Sri Mulyani said, there were five incentives provided by the government for the economic policy package. Of the total budget of Rp24.4 trillion, as much as Rp23.59 trillion came from the State Budget (APBN), while Rp0.85 trillion came from non APBN.

“The total value of this package is Rp24.44 trillion, namely Rp23.59 trillion from the APBN and Rp0.85 trillion from the non APBN or the business world,” Sri Mulyani said at the Presidential Palace Complex, Monday, June 2, 2025.

The state treasurer detailed, the five economic packages include, first, discounts on public transportation during school holidays or June-July 2025. The total budget reaches IDR 0.94 trillion for train tickets given a discount of 30 percent, a discount on airplane tickets (VAT DTP) of 6 percent, and a discount on sea transportation tickets of 50 percent.

Second, toll tariff discounts with a total budget of IDR 0.65 trillion from non-APBN. A discount of 20 percent is given with a target recipient of 110 million motorists.

Third, the thickening of social assistance amounting to Rp11.93 trillion from the State Budget, namely an additional basic food card of Rp200 thousand per month and food assistance of 10 kg of rice per month, each to 18.3 million beneficiary families for June-July 2025 which was distributed once in June 2025.

Fourth, wage subsidy assistance (BSU) with a total budget of IDR 10.72 trillion, which is given at IDR 300 thousand to 17.3 million workers/laborers with a maximum salary of IDR 3.5 million or equivalent to regional UMP, 288 thousand Kemendikdasmen teachers and 277 thousand Kemenag teachers for 2 months or June-July 2025.

Fifth, the extension of the discount on Work Accident Insurance (JKK) contributions with a total budget of Rp0.2 trillion from non APBN. A discount of 50 percent is given for 6 months for labor-intensive sector workers. (*)
