Jakarta – The rupiah is predicted to experience a strengthening against the United States (US) dollar, which weakened due to labor data below expectations.

Money Market Observer, Ariston Tjendra explained, the weakening of the US dollar was caused by the results of US labor data in February 2025 which did not meet market expectations.

“The weakening of the US dollar is due to the results of February US labor data released last Friday night, below market expectations, 151 thousand compared to expectations of 160 thousand people,” said Ariston, Monday, March 10, 2025.
