President Prabowo Shows Off His Government’s Performance Achievements in H1 2025

Jakarta – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto presented a number of strategic achievements of his administration during the first six months of 2025, focusing on the national economic sector.

“One of the milestones of government in every country is whether or not we are able to maintain inflation. Our inflation is one of the lowest in the world. Maybe among the five lowest countries in the world,” Prabowo said when chairing the Plenary Cabinet Meeting at the Cabinet Room, Presidential Palace Jakarta, Monday, May 5, 2025.

He considered that the success in controlling inflation could not be separated from the foundation that had been built by the previous government. Prabowo also appreciated the solidity of his team.

“I feel that our teamwork is good, I feel that the lines we set are realized in the field. Inflation (low) is realized, many countries want to learn how to control inflation from us,” he added.

Another achievement Prabowo discussed was the government’s ability to maintain food price stability, especially at key moments such as Christmas, year-end, and Lebaran.

In addition, the Head of State also highlighted the successful implementation of Lebaran 2025 homecoming which went smoothly, with the lowest accident rate in history and an increase in the number of travelers.

“I got a report that our homecoming is the best in history, the lowest accident rate in history, down 30 percent, and an increase in those going home greater than last year,” he said.
