Jakarta – Bank Indonesia (BI) reported a capital outflow of Rp1.78 trillion in the fourth week of November 2024.
Based on BI transaction data for the period November 25-28, 2024, non-residents were recorded as net sellers in the domestic financial market with this value.
In the fourth week of November 2024, foreign capital outflows were recorded in the stock market and Bank Indonesia Rupiah Securities (SRBI).
“Consisting of net selling of Rp2.01 trillion in the stock market, net buying of Rp1.89 trillion in SBN, and net selling of Rp1.66 trillion in SRBI,” said Head of the BI Communication Department, Ramdan Denny Prakoso, in his official statement.

Meanwhile, Indonesia’s 5-year credit default swaps (CDS) premium rose to 74.53 bps as of November 28, 2024, compared to 73.13 bps as of November 22, 2024.
Thus, during 2024, based on settlement data up to November 28, 2024, non-residents bought a net of IDR24.65 trillion in the stock market, IDR29.17 trillion in the SBN market, and IDR184.85 trillion in SRBI.
In addition, BI also reported the development of the exchange rate from 25 to 28 November 2024. It was noted that the exchange rate as of Thursday, November 28, 2024, the rupiah closed at the (bid) level of IDR 15,865 per US dollar, and opened at the (bid) level of IDR 15,845 per US dollar on Friday, November 29, 2024.

In the bond market, the 10-year Government Securities (SBN) yield rose to 6.904 percent on Thursday, November 28, 2024, and fell to 6.88 percent on Friday, November 29, 2024.
Meanwhile, the dollar index (DXY) weakened to 106.05, and the 10-year US Treasury (UST) yield fell to 4.263 percent. (*)
