Despite 403 Stocks in the Red, JCI Closes Up 0.59 Percent to 8,118 Welcoming the Weekeend

Jakarta – The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) today, Friday, October 3, 2025, closed higher at 8,118.30, up 0.59 percent from 8,071.08.

Based on RTI Business statistics, 403 stocks corrected, 259 stocks strengthened, and 136 stocks remained unchanged.

A total of 45.53 billion shares were traded with a frequency of 2.56 million transfers, and the total transaction value reached Rp22.97 trillion.

All domestic indices also experienced gains. The IDX30 rose 0.23 percent to 412.36, the LQ45 increased 0.24 percent to 785.19, the Sri-Kehati strengthened 0.40 percent to 361.17, and the JII rose 0.59 percent to 556.60.

Furthermore, the majority of sectors also strengthened. Led by the technology sector, which rose 3.09 percent, industrial increased 2.46 percent, non-cyclical strengthened 1.57 percent, energy rose 1.21 percent, infrastructure increased 1.06 percent, raw materials strengthened 0.39 percent, cyclical rose 0.27 percent, and property increased 0.08 percent.

Meanwhile, the remaining sectors weakened, as seen in the transportation sector, which fell 1.41 percent, the health sector, which fell 1.35 percent, and the financial sector, which weakened 0.67 percent.

A number of top gainers included PT Rukun Raharja Tbk (RAJA), PT Pinago Utama Tbk (PNGO), and PT Timah Tbk (TINS).

The top losers were PT Sarana Mitra Luas Tbk (SMIL), PT Bersama Zatta Jaya Tbk (ZATA), and PT Integra Indocabinet Tbk (WOOD).

The three most actively traded stocks were PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA), and PT Sentul City Tbk (BKSL). (*)
