Jakarta — On Monday (9/8/2025) afternoon, President Prabowo Subianto appointed four ministers and deputy ministers at the State Palace in Central Jakarta, reshuffling his cabinet.
The inauguration was a solemn affair attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and several leaders of state institutions.
The ceremony began with the singing of the national anthem, “Indonesia Raya,” followed by the reading of the presidential decree on the dismissal and appointment of the new ministers.
President Prabowo himself led the reading of the oath of office. With great solemnity, the ministers declared their loyalty to the 1945 Constitution and committed to carrying out their duties with full responsibility.
“I swear by Allah that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, and I will carry out all laws and regulations as honestly as possible for the sake of my devotion to the nation and state. In carrying out my duties, I will uphold professional ethics and work to the best of my ability with a sense of responsibility,” read the oath.
The names of the ministers and deputy ministers who were officially inaugurated are:
Minister of Finance: Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa
Minister of Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection: Mukhtarudin
Minister of Cooperatives: Ferry Juliantono
Minister of Hajj and Umrah: Mochamad Irfan Yusuf
Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah: Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak

After the swearing-in ceremony, the new officials signed the inauguration minutes in front of President Prabowo.
This reshuffle is a strategic step by the administration to strengthen the cabinet, address economic challenges, protect migrant workers, and organize the Hajj and Umrah. (*)
