Jakarta – The House of Representatives (DPR) has established the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) as a new working partner in Commission VI and XI.
This was decided in the 21st plenary meeting of the Fourth Session Period of Session Year 2024-2025 on Tuesday (1/7/2025) chaired by Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Adies Kadir.
Adies said that in accordance with a consultation meeting between the House leadership and factions on Monday (30/6), it was decided that BPI Danantara would become a partner of Commission VI and XI of the House of Representatives.
“It is decided that BPI Danantara becomes a partner (first) of Commission VI of the House of Representatives in relation to the operational management of state-owned enterprises,” Adies said at the plenary meeting.
“Commission XI of the House of Representatives in relation to the management of state assignments and the provision of subsidies, in order to ensure the smooth distribution of goods or services for the community and maintain economic price stability,” Adies continued.
Then, Adies asked for approval from all board members regarding the results of the meeting. The meeting participants agreed.
“Next, we will ask the honorable council whether the determination of BPI Danantara to become a working partner of Commission VI and Commission XI can be approved,” asked Adies.
“Agreed,” replied the meeting participants. (*)
